Bij de Venetiaanse haven is de vuurtoren het meest bekende beeld als iemand naar deze stad verwijst. Dit is een van de oudste vuurtorens ter wereld die nog bewaard is gebleven. Gerestaureerde Venetiaanse herenhuizen zijn omgebouwd tot restaurants, caf\u00e9s, boetiekhotels en aantrekkelijke winkels. Kleine steegjes vol bezoekers behouden het exotisme van een stad tussen het oosten en het westen.
